May 22, we left Port McNeill and drove 3 hrs to Comox to
catch the ferry to Powell River. We saw a bear on the drive down. The ferry
ride was smooth and we arrived at Garnet Rock Rv at 3:30 at Powell River. This
has the nicest scenery around.. our site overlooks the strait of Georgia. The
area here is a kayakers paradise. We plan to do some kayaking and hiking .
