April 30, Fort Stevens & Astoria Oregon


On Tuesday April 30 we left the Mt. Saint Helens area and headed back to the northern coast of Oregon to Fort Stevens state park near Astoria. This is Lewis & Clark territory. They ended their cross country trip at Fort Stevens near the mouth of the Coloumbia  river.Some of the hilites.. replica of their winter residence , drive to Tillamook cheese factory, Astoria column, Haystack rock at Cannon Beach,sea lions at Astoria wharf .
