Saturday April 6 Orange Grove

We left Pahrump, Nevada for California On Thursday April 4.Most of the drive thru Nevada and part of California was all desert.
Nevada desert

On the I-5 , transporting oranges

Orange grove across from the RV park.. there were half dozen oil wells in the middle of the orchard.
We arrived at Orange Grove RV after a hard drive into the wind for 5 hrs.We were lucky to have it recommended to us by Gary and Donna from B.C. The park has the usual facilities except that the washroom/showers were like out of a 5 star hotel..When we first arrived and registered we were given a bag of oranges. The park is surrounded by orange groves as well as having orange trees at each rv site. The trees are in bloom and the aroma is quite pleasing. We paid a visit to the California fruit and nut company down the road. We loaded up in nuts and dates and had a date milkshake... very good and almost a meal in itself.the next day we had a 3 hr drive to country manor rv in Visalia, Cal. There we will travel to Sequoia National Park. Stay tuned ..
